Suhaila Workshop - Austin TX March 27-29, 2009 Limited Enrollment Available Fifteen full hours with master instructor, performer and choreographer Suhaila Salimpour. To learn more about Suhaila, please visit www.therealsuhaila.com. This is a limited enrollment event - so please register early to secure your spot. This weekend is open to all dancers - no certification required. This weekend is not Level specific and there will not be certification testing of any kind. The weekend will be filled with information and movement in both the Suhaila Salimpour format as well as the Jamila Salimpour format (Sunday morning). Friday PM - MASTER CLASS --Registration at 5:30pm --Registration at 9:00am Lunch Break 12:30 - 1:30pm Saturday PM - DRUM SOLO CHOREOGRAPHY --Class from 1:30pm - 4:30pm Saturday PM - DINNER AND A SHOW Sunday AM - JAMILA FORMAT BASICS TECHNIQUE AND COMBOS --Registration at 9:30am Sunday PM - LAYERING TAQSEEM CHOREOGRAPHY --Class from 2:00 - 5:00pm
EVENT SCHEDULE
This class will be sure to challenge us all and open our eyes to new possibilities and exciting combinations of layering movement. Previous experience in the Suhaila Salimpour format is a bonus but not required. Sometimes you just have to jump in with both feet.

Saturday AM - SUHAILA FORMAT
Experience the Salimpour format concepts and movements via muscular explanation breakdown, drilling and jazz fusion dance movements. Although this is not a certification workshop, students will gain a deeper understanding of her overall format and the possibilities it offers.
--Class from 9:30am - 12:30am

at Copa Bar and Grill in downtown Austin on Congress Ave. between 2nd and 3rd. Paid parking lot conveniently located behind the club; street parking also available. Doors open 7:00pm
